Hello, everyone. I am a 32 year old stay at home father of 2. My daughter is 3.5 and my son is about to turn two.
The name of my blog has multiple meanings. I am a member of a rare breed (we are in rarefied air). There about 143,000 stay-at-home dads out of 5.6 million stay at home parents. That's about 2.5%. Since I am child rearing, you could say it's rearfied air. You could also say that it's rearfied air, because I have one kid in diapers in one kid potty training and I encounter alot of rear air through the course of the day.
The actual reason is that rarefiedair wasn't available, so I went with a not so witty counterpart.
I've been a stay at home dad for 2.5 years, and it has been the most challenging, most rewarding job that I've ever had. I will periodically be posting my musings. It's a way for me to connect to the world, to have a release, an outlet. I hope you guys will join the ride with me.
